I just bought the Bark Off becasue I saw it at a local store and thought I would try it. About three months ago I purchased a $137.00 static shock collar. As it turned out my dog's neck has too many skin folds and hair to be effective. I bought the Bark Off and took it out to the kennel. Our dog stopped barking almost immediately. Not a single peep from him all night. Not even when the cat was sitting on the step. Generally, he would freak out and bark incessantly. I am truly amazed at the results in so short a time. So we determined it was the barkoff, which stopped her barking. Over the next two days she would start to bark and then shut up. She wasn’t harmed in any way that I could tell.
It’s now been more than a month, since we employed the ultrasonic dog barking controller, and our Princess doesn’t go crazy with her barking any more. Even when she hears car doors close , down the street, no more barking.

I have a little poodle named Elmo that I love to death, but she yaps and yaps and yaps, and I didn't really know what to do about it. I started researching online, and found a lot of info about bark control products and such, but didn't really find anything I was really impressed with.
Then, I saw BarkOff's infomercial on TV. I was a little skeptical (as I am with all products I see advertised on TV) but I knew it wasn't an entirely new concept that the people at Bark Off were using, so I figured I'd give them a shot. I found their sales page from this website, and at the time they were still doing their buy one get one free offer. So I definitely chose to take advantage of that!
It came in the mail 3 days ago and I've already put it to use. I keep one in the house on my kitchen counter and I haven't really had to move it because I have also been using the 2nd one I got for free. I have a 1 story 2000 square foot home, and since I believe the range of Bark Off should be more than enough for that amount of space, I still have the other bark off positioned right by my front door.
One of my best girlfriends came over yesterday and rang the front doorbell. If you own a poodle anything like my Elmo, you know you're in for an earful. But when the doorbell rang, she barked once, and then Elmo had acted as if nothing was happening out of the ordinary. She just started sniffing her (my friend's) shoes. She didn't even make a sound!
The day before she had tried to bark a few times, but stopped after each single bark. Because of the automatic setting, I didn't really hear another peep out of her for the rest of the day!!
The one drawback I heard from some people was that the ultrasonic transmitter parts take up a lot of battery power since it stays on all day, so I might go through a few more batteries than I had expected. But so far, everything seems like it's running in ship shape condition.
And! I think all of you would be happy to know that Elmo is still her same old happy self! She's still bouncing around on my couch, wanting to cuddle up next to me when I watch TV. She greets people at the door by sniffing their feet, and really doesn't do anything out of the ordinary.
Overall I give BarkOff a 9 out of 10! I felt like the shipping was a few dollars more than I would have liked, but it was well worth the price for me to remedy Elmo's nuisance barking. I don't at all regret getting two BarkOff dog control devices. Next I'm going to try training Elmo using various commands while I have the device in my hand. I'm excited about trying it, and if this site gets this review and decides to publish it, I just might send them another one later about my training experience!

Anyway, this will be short and sweet. I have a lab-golden mix puppy who barks at just about everything, including his own shadow. As I’m sure like many of you, I was pulling my hair out. Those shock collars never really worked, and anything else I tried (various foods, sprays, just about everything in the book) always fell short.
So, I got the buy one get one deal from BarkOff after I saw their commercial on TV. Granted, I did some research online first, and actually used this website to learn more about it, and eventually buy the product.
When it came in the mail, I immediately inserted the batteries, and put it on the table sitting out on my back porch. Then, I let Franklin (the pup) run out of the house so he could start barking it up (or so he thought).
He barked once and instantly stopped. Usually he’d bark for minutes at a time. I could tell he looked a little confused. He barked once again a few seconds later, stopped, and looked around like someone was calling his name. And then, silence. Like nothing had ever happened, he was still running around yard, chasing grasshoppers – happy as can be. Silent as can be.
I couldn’t endorse this product more. If bark collars and sprays and such aren’t working for you, well here’s your obvious remedy.
In case anyone is wondering about the range before they buy Bark Off, then I’ll give you the dimensions of my yard and tell you this thing work liked a charm. The furthest distance from that patio table to fence is 72 feet. My dog was about 6 inches away from that point of the fence when he barked the first time. That should give you a pretty good idea of the ultrasonic range of this device.
